The Role

This Top 100 UK law firm is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer with 5-8 years PQE to join its award-winning Disputes team based in the City of London.

You will be involved in producing quality knowledge content for both internal and external use in order to support the fee earners within the firm's Legal 500 Tier 3 ranked Dispute Resolution department.

You will work cooperatively with the team's Managing Partner and to ensure fee earners are adequately supported and receive top-quality training that the practice is known for.

The Disputes team is well regarded and services for both domestic and international clients. In addition, the team is currently experiencing continued growth - making it an exciting time to join.

Duties will include reviewing and sharing updates and developments in the field of commercial litigation, preparing agendas for monthly updates and offshore meetings and collating information on internal precedents and know-how.

You will assist Partners with the Assistant and Trainee Development Programmes alongside responsibility for organising training for the Commercial Litigation team. The role involves the preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

There will also be the opportunity to raise the profile of the firm through attending various external events and forums, the option to be involved in the onboarding of new staff/graduate recruitment and to assist in writing articles for the firm or producing client briefings.

You will act as a key liaison between the Disputes department, other departments and the Professional Support team, to ensure maximum transfer of skills and minimal duplication of resources.
