This is a stand out opportunity for a Partner to work within a highly Chambers ranked Public Law department within a Top 50 law firm in the city. If you are looking to work within a prestigious practice, on larger more high profile case within one of the biggest teams in the country this is an excellent position!

You will find this department is at the forefront of Planning within Public bodies. You will work with a team of public procurement specialist working on a number of significant planning and regeneration projects in around London. You will work local government, central government, parish councils and representative bodies.

You will join the City of London office, which has a unique culture which is dynamic and extremely progressive with a strong social aspect running throughout the firm with many internal sports and social clubs.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planning Partner to work within a highly Chambers & Partners ranked Public Law department in their City of London office.

You will work alongside leading individuals within the field, within one of the largest Public law teams in the country. This team have an excellent track record and significant experience in advising public sector bodies on notable and often televised issues. You will work alongside the prestigious inquiries department.

You will be a specialist within Planning law working within regulatory framework to help public bodies carry out development. You will be working with a team dedicated to planning and public law, including specialist in public procurement, state aid and environmental law. The teach acts for a broad range of clients affected by planning and property decisions - developers, investors, tenants, local government, central government, parish councils and representative bodies.

Requirements

  • You will be a Senior Associate with over 7 years experience within Public Law
  • You should have excellent communication skills and work well within a team
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • You will receive excellent training, support, and prospects
  • Active Client Base (Preferred but not essential)
  • Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
