They are seeking to hire a Court of Protection Solicitor 2-4 years PQE to join their highly tiered Legal 500 Court of Protection department based in Central London.
They assist in making decisions about the health and welfare of their clients including Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carer's rights and issues relating to the Care Act 2014. Work includes; appointing/removing a deputy, arranging powers of attorney, gifts, managing assetss under a deputyship, care decisions, removing lasting powers of attorney, special educational needs.
There will be good variation to the role which will give you an interesting, diverse caseload based around the Health and Welfare of Court of Protection individuals.
The Court of Protection team work very closely with the PI team which is also ranked highly within the Legal 500.
