They are seeking to hire a Court of Protection Solicitor 3-5 years PQE to join their well-established Legal 500 Court of Protection department based in Central London.
This is a unique role where the department represents protected parties and family members in complex health and welfare proceedings before the Court of Protection and the High Court. They assist in making decisions about the health and welfare of their clients including Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carer's rights and issues relating to the Care Act 2014.
The team comprises of, the Managing Partner, 2 solicitors and some support staff. There is currently a large amount of work in house so they are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision to a high level of quality and be keen to progress your career within the team.
There will be good variation to the role which will give you an interesting, diverse caseload based around the Health and Welfare of Court of Protection individuals.
