The Role:

Joining this commercial team, the firm are recruiting a passionate, experienced lawyer, with a drive for client experience. You'll be with a team embracing technology, looking to innovate the ways we work.

Working alongside an established and supportive corporate team which collaboratively covers all office regions, Peterborough, Stamford, Cambridge, Nottingham and London. The team comprises the full spectrum of experience in terms of years in practice, seniority and sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking a wide range of work including advising on agreements relating to the sale and purchase of shares and businesses
• Reorganisations and commercial agreements
• Supply & purchasing, distributorship and agency contracts
• Trading terms of business and e-commerce terms of use
• Collaborative working with the senior lawyers of the team on larger complex transactions
• Develop client base

Requirements:

• 5-8 years PQE
• Commercial experience
• A good working knowledge of data protection and intellectual property would be advantageous but not a necessity
• Clarity of thinking, commercial awareness and the ability to guide clients with your advice, understanding and setting clear targeted outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High standard of free drafting ability
• Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
• Experience of Microsoft office products and the ability to use Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
