The Role
This premium UK law firm is recruiting for a Planning Solicitor (NQ-1 year PQE) to join its City of London office.
This firm believes in empowering its junior associates and as a result you will gain early opportunities to gain direct client contact and build lasting relationships. You will be encouraged to manage your own caseload with supervision from the Partnership when required.
The team is one of the foremost planning departments in the UK, providing you with access to some of the highest profile and most lucrative clients in the country; including landowners, developers and investors.
The team has a national reputation for high-level strategic planning advice on major residential-led schemes, having won multiple awards.
The role will involve advising on planning strategy, applications and appeals, court challenges and enforcement. You will also assist on CIL, section 106 and infrastructure agreements.
Other duties will include due diligence checks as well as researching and advising on legislative and policy changes.
This position will provide the opportunity to engage in business development - equipping you with the skills to progress your career in law.
