A top-class opportunity has arisen for an experienced charity solicitor to join a Tier 2 Legal 500 ranked department within this Top 100 UK law firm.

Based in the City of London, this is the perfect environment for a charity solicitor with 2-4 PQE to progress their career within a thriving law practice, at the associate level.

The Firm:

Ranked in the Top 100, this firm is different to many other City firms - they have a unique progressive culture, and unlike other City firms, it is common for people to stay with them for their entire careers. As a result, it is rare to find staff retention rates this good.

The firm is known for dealing with the highest quality work, and the London office has 400 members known for punching well above their weight.

The practise advises on projects of national significance with a prestigious national and international client base normally reserved for a far larger business - a testament to the quality of this firm's work and standing in the legal sector.

This firm boasts a highly developed charity practice - working with some of the largest charitable organisations in the country, such as the university bodies, the Church of England and the Charity Commission.

Ranked Tier 2 in the Legal 500, few firms can operate at such a high level in the Charity sector and this practice area is one of the main focusses of the business.

The firm values work-life balance and has a friendly, progressive and supportive team dynamic but handles quality work like that of much larger City firms.

Flexible working is standard policy with most staff opting to work in a hybrid manner - working from home 50% of the time.

The Role:

This Tier 2 ranked department is seeking a Charity Solicitor 2 - 4 years PQE, to join its celebrated and growing team based in the City of London.

This position will provide excellent client contact, working with a broad and exciting range of clients, ranging from universities and schools to ecclesiastical organisations and Royal chartered bodies.

Other matters will include applying to the Charity Commission for schemes and orders, advising on the establishment of social enterprises and winding-up charities.

You will provide advice spanning a range of legal matters such as property, charity and trust law as well as specialist areas such as education and ecclesiastical law.

The department aims to provide excellent value to its client base while continuing to forge a reputation as the go-to firm in the ecclesiastical and charity markets.
