This Magic Circle International law firm is looking for a Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer, 1-5 years PQE, to join within their Tier 1 ranked City of London team.

The Role

• The Restructuring and Insolvency Group works on the entire range of corporate restructuring and insolvency assignments, from advising private equity, financial investors, bank and bondholder creditors, governmental bodies and debtors in 'work-out' situations to advising officeholders, creditors and other counterparties in the context of insolvency proceedings.
• The breadth and depth of the practice allows clients to benefit from restructuring and finance expertise across a full spectrum of products and structures, providing access to specialists in areas which are often pivotal in distressed situations, such as pensions, tax and derivatives.
• You will be working closely with our insolvency practices outside London - especially the US, Asia Pac, The Netherlands, France and Germany.
• A strong transactional bias would be a distinct advantage, but lawyers who have had a mix of contentious and non-contentious work may still apply.

Requirements

• Be an outstanding lawyer with 1-5 years PQE, and extensive experience Restructuring & Insolvency matters
• Good organisational skills and enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
• Excellent client relationship skills and desire to carry out business development. Utilise client focus initiatives and monitor service levels of client needs.
