The Team

• You will be Sitting in their Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure practice group, which works on projects in construction, project development, acquisition, and financing of projects. You will be advising commercial banks, institutional investors, non-bank lenders, multilateral agencies, and development finance institutions, and sponsors on the development and financing of energy and natural resources projects across the world.
• You will have the opportunity to be involved with multi-billion-pound projects with prestigious clients as well as interesting and complex work for government agencies. The projects group focus on the following areas: infrastructure (in its broadest sense, including transport & logistics, residential and industrial development), defence, utilities and nuclear decommissioning, oil and gas pipelines, mining, petrochemicals, major thermal power, all forms of renewable energy and seawater desalination.
• You work will include representing lenders and sponsors in all elements relating to the development, construction, operation, acquisition and sale of energy and natural resources projects throughout the world; drafting, reviewing and negotiating project documents; and undertaking due diligence and bankability reviews of project documents.

Requirements

• You will be a Project Finance Associate, 3-6 years PQE, with experience dealing with energy, natural resources, and infrastructure matters.
• Good organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
• Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
