The Role

• This role takes place within the larger Finance Group which holds significant capabilities in Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Funds Finance, Speciality Finance, Structured Finance & Derivatives, Debt Capital Markets, Real Estate Finance and Social Housing Finance.
• The fund team is a unique set up in the city, as a 3-partner practice the division is highly collaborative with huge scope for growth across both extensive existing client base as well as developing new areas.
• You will act for lender and borrower clients on Funds Finance facilities for funds across a range of sectors including private equity, credit, infrastructure, renewables, energy, real estate and secondaries funds.
• The team regularly act on the full spectrum of Funds Finance products from subscription / capital call to hybrid and NAV, umbrella, manager and co-invest facilities and preferred equity solutions.
• This is a fantastic opportunity to specialise in one or more areas of interest and be part of and help to grow newer practice areas for the firm.

Requirements

• You will be a lawyer with 4 years PQE with experience of working on funds finance or speciality finance transactions, or you have broader finance experience with a real appetite to grow and develop your career in Funds Finance.
• Have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work, are ambitious and confident to deliver at the highest standard.
• You will be details focussed, self-motivated and proactive, and confident in building enduring relationships with clients that are based on trust and high-quality service delivery.
