This Top 30 International Law Firm is looking for a Commercial Transportation Associate, 2-5 years PQE, to work within their market-leading Rail & Bus practice.

You will work within a Legal 500 ranked department, within a team recognised for its strategic importance, and will be given a great deal of responsibility within a growing practice. This firm have made a number of key hires to strengthen their international growth to which you will be exposed to a vast array of domestic and international opportunity.

The Role

  • Key areas of expertise include: franchising and concessions; rolling stock; regulation; infrastructure; depot financing; bus franchising and electric buses.
  • You will require experience in commercial contracts, with past exposure to rail and/or bus, either from a corporate, commercial, projects or rail finance team.
  • The team will at someone with A keen interest in the rail and/or bus industry, with experience in aviation and/or leasing being a plus. Additionally, experience of dealing with franchises, concessions and NRCs would be ideal

Requirements

  • You will be a Solicitor, 2-5 years PQE, with experience dealing with Rail and Bus matters
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
