The Role

• The team acts for some of the world's largest commodity and natural resources companies internationally, specialising in and also acts for and against Governments in relation to contractual issues, investment disputes and sovereign immunity.
• The team is recommended in both Chambers and the Legal 500 and allows you to act alongside some of the leading commercial dispute lawyers in the country, working collaboratively on many high-profile and noteworthy cases.
• Your caseload will be wide and varied and will include trading disputes, both litigation and arbitration, and advisory work in relation to a wide range of international trading issues including anti-bribery, corruption, anti-money laundering and compliance and sanctions, many with a cross-border element.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial and Banking Disputes lawyer with 6 years PQE, looking to specialise within the practice area of energy, marine, and natural resources.
• You will have excellent legal ability and initiative, strong technical skills as well as confidence in managing and prioritising a full and varied caseload.
• You will have contractual dispute experience and would be advantageous to speak a European language.
• It is important to have experience in Complex drafting and analysis, review and amendment of junior staff documents.
