Public & Regulatory Senior Lawyer (FTC); This team are highly ranked In the legal 500 and work with a range of Public bodies. This is an FTC for at minimum 12 months, with the option to extend to 15 months. The team are Incredibly busy and you will be given strong exposure to complex matters.

The Role

This is an excellent position for a Senior Lawyer in the Public & Regulatory team. This is an FTC for minimum 12 months with the option to extend to 15 months.

The team advises across areas such as equality, duties, human rights, safeguarding, public procurement, public sector audits, inquiries and inquests. They are highly ranked in the legal 500 and Chambers partners with a leading individuals amongst their ranks.

They act for a diverse array of regulators and public bodies on the interpretation and implementation of public law obligations and resisting potential challenges, including judicial reviews. It is also frequently instructed to advise charities and non-profits on their regulatory concerns, and advises on professional discipline and fitness-to-practise proceedings.

You will be:

• Advising complex issues, including regulatory matters that involve more than one regulatory regime and inter-disciplinary cases.
• leading their own matters on a day-to-day basis, supervising other lawyers
• working across a diverse range of clients, including public and private sector bodies, charities, social enterprises and individuals in a variety of sectors including local government, charities, education and health and social care.
• Business development initiative sand support the partners in the management of client relationships.

Requirements

• You will be solicitor with at least 6 years PQE (There is no upper limit to this role)
• Worked in a respectable Public & Regulatory group or equivalent
• Ability to work in a busy environment
• A client centric approach
