The Role:

This Top 50 UK law firm is seeking a Legal Director to join it successful Financial Services Litigation team based in central London, with flexibility for home working.

With one of the nation's largest FSDI teams, this is a highly sort after opening, with access to the highest quality work and great room for internal progression.

You will work with an esteemed client list of clearing banks, private banks and building societies as well as niche lenders.

The team operates a varied caseload, ensuring an interesting and challenging role - providing advice on a number of contentious matters such as consumer, commercial and business finance. This will include dispute resolution, alternative dispute resolution or pre-litigation management.

As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to lead on a wide-range of projects - with management responsibilities, assisting the partners in growing the department through business development. You may also supervise more junior colleagues.

In your role you will provide advice on high-value applications which may have reputational repercussions. You will also defend against reputationally sensitive claims and assist clients in preventing claims against them in the future.

You will undertake direct client contact, providing valuable business advice and developing quality relationships.

Requirements:

• 5 - 8 PQE Solicitor qualified in England & Wales
• Previous experience in either financial services litigation or commercial litigation
• Knowledge of the CPR and litigation processes
