The firm's lawyers have vast experience in ground breaking strategies for structured acquisitions and financings of public and private companies, negotiated and unsolicited acquisitions, take-private transactions, stock-for-stock acquisitions, spin-off transactions and acquisitions of minority interests.

They also stand apart from their competitors in a range of international capabilities. High Yield markets are another core focus, and the firm has one of the largest US capital markets teams in London. The Private Funds team offers comprehensive technical advice with a commercial nucleus, which is supported by the team's comprehensive market knowledge. The Role

The Private Equity team require an Associate. The firm dominate the PE space from the middle market to mega funds. They expertly advise the world's leading private equity investors across all industries and sectors. Their stellar private equity practice covers major financial centres throughout the world.

The exponential rise in Private Equity work in London represents the shift in the world's balance of power since the global financial crisis. Investment banks have been usurped by private equity funds that sit on hundreds of billions in investment funds. The firm adapted and capitalised on this trend, alongside key lateral and strategic hires, which has ensured that they have become the leading power house in the Private Equity space in the City and Internationally.

The team foster trust with all parties involved in a deal, identifying and executing solutions and managing risk in the most complex and challenging of matters. The fast-moving nature of the transactions undertaken require a team that responds with professionalism and a solutions-based approach, while working to pre-empt obstacles they may face in the future. The expert team are offered consistent guidance and support to ensure seamless completion whilst managing the expectations of their exceptional client base.

The Private Equity team require an Associate with 5 PQE that can immerse themselves in working alongside a pioneering team dealing with a wide range of matters with the highest degree of complexity. The current client base is unprecedented at this juncture, and the team thrive on the exceptional level of work they bring.

You will be working alongside the Partner on a 3 Months FTC, in order to service the thriving Private Equity team. The Partner is incredibly busy and you will be exposed to premium markets.

The Requirements

  • Russell Group University or International equivalent (Minimum 2:1)
  • Qualified Solicitor (Foreign Qualified applicants welcome)
  • Training contract at recognised City law firm
  • Right to work in the UK (However, Tier 2 Sponsorship can be offered)
  • The desire to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial team
