If you're interested in progression, friendly culture and consistent levels of quality work, this firm may be the place to continue your career.

The firm was set up by 2 ex-City Partners in the 2000's and they need to grow to service their work, but also plan for the future as they will retire one day - this makes it a unique opportunity for the right candidate to gain clear-cut progression prospects; a real future.

The Firm

Set up in the early 2000's by City Partners specialised in Litigation, this boutique commercial litigation firm stands out from the crowd.

Their entrepreneurial approach, friendly nature and investment into their people makes them a first class employer.

The firm's clients are insurers, and contractors - they purely handle litigation. They don't do any private client work at all.

The 2 founders are great with people; and this translates into their management styles. They have created a meritocracy - for example, they gave an employee a 20% salary increase at the end of their first year of working for them, due to exceeding expectations.

If you can show them that you're worth it, they will make sure you get paid properly, are supported to grow while keeping a tight grip on your quality of life.

The Role

This boutique firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Solicitor 6-10 PQE to join their office in the City of London.

The work is construction litigation, but there is more broad disputes work as part of the caseload as well.

- The successful candidate does not need to be specialised in construction disputes already, but experience in it would be helpful.

The work?

  • Claims against Architects, Engineers , Design and Build Contractors and other construction professionals;
  • Claims against Accountants, Solicitors, Brokers, Underwriting and Managing Agents, Surveyors and Valuers;

In return?

You'll be a part of this firm's succession planning - ultimately, giving you a clear cut path to progression and in a few short years you may find yourself at the top of a high performing boutique City of London law firm.

The salary is negotiable - they are very open minded; you do not need a following, but any evidence of this will help achieve a higher salary. They will review your expectations and if your skills are in line, in terms of value with your salary, then this firm will pay what you deserve.

They increased an employees basic salary by 20% after year 1, due to high performance - they look after each other.
