Associate Construction Solicitor

BBBH44802
£70000 - £85000 per annum Negotiable Excellent Benefits
City London City of London

Are you junior Construction Solicitor looking for your next adventure? This 70 national law firm - ranked highly across the Legal 500, is seeking to expand its successful construction team.

This practice offers an impressive benefits packages alongside tailored training and development opportunities. Few firms are prepared to invest in their solicitors in the way in which this award winning-practice does.

The Firm:

In recent years, this Top 70 firm has substantially grown and now has over 200 staff. They are top tier across several practice areas, which increases yearly. They are based in the heart of the West End of London and deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine.

You will find that with smaller teams, it is common for NQ's and Partners to be working side by side, this is not a Partner-led, pyramid structure. Fee earners of all levels have the opportunity to be involved with business development. It is common for fee earners to gain such a level of exposure they gain PQE beyond their years.

It is common for lawyers from City-based and Top 50 firms to leave in favour of this very practice. This is due to the quality of working being the same but with the added benefits of greater flexibility and a more friendly environment.

You will find a creative, supportive, dynamic, forward-thinking, and progressive culture. They invest heavily in their staff, with industry-leading training and a real platform for progression. This firm is a true destination for Magic/Silver Circle Lawyers and offers the quality of work to match - while maintaining an enviable work/life balance.

The firm was quick to adapt to the "new normal" and as a result, offers a flexible approach to hybrid working.

The Role:

This Top 70 Legal 500 firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Construction team in the City of London.

You will be joining a flourishing Projects and Infrastructure and Construction Department - recognised in the Legal 500.

The team is currently growing at a rapid pace, having attracted skilled solicitors from Norton Rose Fulbright, CMS, Pinsent Masons and Squire Patton Boggs, among others.

You will work on standard construction contracts such as JCT and NEC and potentially FIDC and MF/1. You will advise on complex procurements and represent high-calibre clients in the Technology and Construction Court.

You will be provided with the opportunity to engage in business development and will gain excellent client contact form the outset. This is a perfect opportunity for either an NQ solicitor with a seat in Construction or an established construction solicitor to progress their career in the sector.
