The Role

The firm is recruiting for a Professional Support Lawyer 5 years PQE to join the Construction team in their City of London office.

The Construction team advise on all standard construction contracts such as JCT, NEC, PPC etc. The department also has extensive experience in Construction disputes, from complex work such as claims worth hundreds of millions to simple enforcement proceedings.

The firm works with a national and varied client base of local authorities, NHS trusts and educational institutions.
You will be responsible for supporting fee earners in the team, notifying them of changes in the law and assisting them strengthen their technical skills.

You will play key role, managing and sharing the departments knowledge resources and answering any queries from the team. The role also involves providing training to both fee earners and clients and providing information and resources that can be used to assist business development.

Requirements

  • You will be an England and Wales Solicitor 5 years PQE
  • Technically strong and up-to-date with Construction law
  • Experience with the public sector is advantageous

  • Salary is negotiable between £80,000-£90,000 depending on experience
