The Firm

Many of the existing Partners are homegrown which shows the level of commitment the firm have to developing their own, recruiting where necessary to facilitate further growth. They have grown significantly over the past few years and show no signs of stopping with a number of recent high-profile Senior hires.

The Senior Management Team have decided that due to ongoing success, they wish to further their offering in East Anglia and for this reason they are seeking client facing, business development excelling Partners to join their leading Top200UK Firm.

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Corporate Commercial Partner to join their expanding Cambridge Office.

You will be responsible for building or further developing your own client base, adopting the firm's commercial ethos, working alongside the wider senior management team other Partners to build the firms presence brand further - ensuring future success for your department and the office as a whole.

The firm service a range of local, regional and national clients across a broad range of industries, being a Top 200 UK firm, they consistently receive high profile and high value cases from their clients.

They are now looking for a client facing Partner with significant business development experienced to join them in an autonomous role, reporting to the Managing Partner.

Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of Corporate Commercial including:

  • M&A
  • Partnership and Shareholder agreements
  • Drafting and reviewing terms and conditions
  • and Commercial contracts

This firm are dedicated to investing and developing their Cambridgeshire & East Anglia offering further which has created a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial Partner to bring their experience to an innovative and rapidly expanding firm, where you will be provided with full autonomy to head up the Corporate Commercial offering for the region.

Requirements

  • You will be a Corporate Partner with at least 8 years PQE
  • Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
  • You should have first-class communication, business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
