The Role

3 PQE Pensions (Professional Support Lawyer) within Tier 1 Bristol Top 50 firm

Joining a booming Tier 1 and Chambers ranked Pensions team as a PSL lawyer, you will curate and influence the knowledge underpinning a department that guides over 500 organisations on matters concerning their pension plans.

Consulting on non-contentious matters both within the public and private sectors, you'll work closely with numerous FTSE 250 companies, governance and educational institutions, along with prestigious international organisations. You will be pivotal in planning pension schemes, assisting trustees and clients with defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes (whether opened, closed or in winding up).

Being a guru on Pensions, you'll empower the team with your prowess whilst remaining afoot on all pension field developments. Your practice will inspire those in the team, be it in their working knowledge or conduct when engaging with clients and other areas of the firm.

Owing to a rapidly expanding department and your influential role in the business, you shall expect to experience rapid and ongoing career progression, with a structured path to Associate and Partners level opportunities.

The Requirements

• 3 years of successful practice within Pensions law

• Willingness to share knowledge with those more junior, and engage with colleagues in terms of an overall strategy for the department

• Commerciality and interpersonal acumen when engaging with clients, in order to exceed expectation and aid in expansion

• Confidence when discussing and addressing complex issues, whilst encouraging excellence within the broader team.
