The Role

They're seeking a Family Solicitor 5 PQE to join them in Bristol, Somerset.

This is an exceptional chance to join a team that has an enviable client base and are going through some incredibly exciting growth.

Role responsibilities - what will you be doing?

• Divorce and Civil Partnerships
• Private law children matters (no public law cases and no legal aid)
• Schedule 1 Children Act 1989 claims (financial claims on behalf of children)
• TOLATA claims (cohabitee disputes over property)
• Cohabitation agreements
• Main stay of work- Financial separation
  • Typically high net worth clients
  • Lower 'pot' cases (£750k to £2m)
  • International elements where parties are assets based in other jurisdictions
  • Complex issues concerning Trusts within divorce (and where we may work in conjunction with Tax and Estates)
  • Pensions
  • Company issues within divorce (where we may work in conjunction with Corporate and Employment)
• Prenuptial Agreements (becoming more common)
• Injunction proceedings occasionally - domestic abuse or harassment relating to current or previous partner/relationship

Requirements:

• You will be a Family Solicitor 5 PQE
• You will be based in Bristol or within a commutable distance (This role requires you to come to Bristol office two-three days per week)
• You will receive a market-leading salary, which is dependent on experience
