The Role:

This is a highly progressive opportunity for a part-time Senior Private Client Solicitor with 5-7 years of PQE to leave a permanent mark and cultivate a thriving Private Client department in Horley, Surrey.

The ideal candidate should seek a part-time arrangement of 2 days a week initially, with the potential for an increase as the department flourishes.

In this capacity, you will function independently with the backing of an experienced secretary. This structure is particularly advantageous for senior lawyers who are eager to propel the department forward and execute pivotal recruitments in the years ahead.

To align with this, you will manage a diverse Private Client caseload including:

• Wills
• Complex Trusts
• Probate
• Administration of estates
• Court of Protection

There is a healthy blend of private client work in this role not pigeonholing yourself to one aspect of the practice. This is intentionally designed for someone who enjoys variety.

Requirements

• A Qualified Solicitor with 5-7 years of PQE
• Previous experience handling a diverse caseload of Private client matters
• Previous experience managing a team is not essential but desirable
• You will have a great eye for detail and be motivated to succeed
• Excellent business development skills
