The role

This company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to take the lead on all Commercial legal matters in their Central London office.

You will be working closely with the Head of Commercial, CFO, business stakeholders, external counsel and the wider team of commercial professionals throughout the business. You will be tackling a wide range of commercial responsibilities, including a mixture of commercial contracts, public procurement, IP, data protection, Co-Sec and much more.

This role will suit an experienced, generalist Commercial Lawyer who has some solid experience within an IT/Data related business.

There is a lot of autonomy within this role, allowing you to be able to shape the commercial legal function how you see fit. The range of commercial work on offer makes this an exciting opportunity for the successful Senior Legal Counsel. Requirements

• You will be a solicitor of 8+ PQE with a background in Commercial Law
• You will have a strong sense of Commercial acumen
• You will have the ability to lead on all Commercial responsibilities and work autonomously when required
