This leading independent Scottish firm is seeking to appoint a talented Private Client Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to their award-winning Glasgow office.

The Role

Working as part of this collegiate Legal 500 team, you will support this established and growing Glasgow Private Client team to service a dynamic caseload of clients. Variety of work creates a refreshing role where the solicitor takes ownership of clients to provide a range of advice on asset protection, tax and executry administration.

You Solicitor will work with large trusts and estates, HNW individuals, support succession planning, and create and execute wills and power of attorneys, as well as working on guardianship and capacity cases.

Clients and cases span the full gamut of size and complexity, meaning the role will provide the successful candidate with unrivalled practical experience.

Fulfilling and client-focused, you will be in a position to progress towards the upper ranks of this leading firm and develop a real depth of expertise in private client work, taking a decisive step forward in your career.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is an ambitious individual with a minimum of 5 years of relevant PQE
  • STEP qualified or ambition to become so
  • Excellent verbal/written communicator with first-rate interpersonal skills
  • Has a client focus and approaches problems in an effective, organised and skilled manner
  • Ability to manage complex and varied workload efficiently to the highest standard
