Role Overview

This is a rare opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join one of the UK's leading regional law firms based in Reading.

The private client department is highly ranked in the legal 500 and chambers, it is currently flourishing and has been steadily growing over the last 24 months, with plans to continue to grow in line with increased workflow. It is a vibrant and hard-working team, their achievements over the last 5 years are incredible.

You work with the other partners to drive the department forwards. They support their clients out of their national and international offices.

The Private Client department is currently thriving, they deal with a varied caseload, often acting for HNW individuals, company owner's entrepreneurs. Both based in the UK and non-UK clients dealing with a varied caseload including;

• Complex wills and assets
• Tax planning,
• Estates
• Trusts
• LPOA
• Probates

The core focus of this role is centred around wills and trusts so a Solicitor will be an expected to have some experience during their training contract, show an intimate knowledge of this area or have experience as a paralegal/legal executive in regards to this.

The department is currently looking to grow given they are very busy.

• You will be a Private Client Solicitor NQ-5 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regards to experience)
• You will have experience in wills and trusts
• You will have technical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills are essential
