The Role:

You will join a preeminent Environment team as an Associate in the firm's Leeds office.

The Environment team deals with multinational PLC that are often household names, and you will be exposed to some of the most exciting and high-profile work in this area of law, with often international scope.

You will work closely with well-known partners on a caseload of interesting contentious & non-contentious environmental matters, including regulatory advice, enforcement, real estate & corporate transaction support, and net zero/clean energy advice. The scope of work is broad and often encompasses various practice areas.

Requirements:

• As a guide, this role would suit an Environmental Lawyer between NQ - 2 years PQE
• Previous experience in Environmental Law isn't important, but a keen interest is. Applications will be considered from strong NQ candidates with experience gained across other commercial practice areas (such as corporate, real estate, planning, commercial contracts)
• Willing to get involved in business development
• Have a strong academic track record
