We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join a highly regarded Tech company headquartered in Manchester. This company has exhibited exceptional performance in a challenging market and is seeking an ambitious Legal Counsel to join their high-performing legal team.

The Role
As the Legal Counsel, you will undertake a diverse range of responsibilities, including contract management, intellectual property matters, regulatory compliance, and general legal support. This will involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts such as SaaS agreements, software licenses, NDAs, and service level agreements.
You will provide advice on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Additionally, you will assist with regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of data protection and privacy law. This may entail collaboration with external legal counsel, filing of legal documents, and delivering high-quality administrative support to the legal team.
Moreover, fostering collaborative and proactive relationships with other teams throughout the business will be an essential aspect of this role.
Requirements
- 3-6 PQE
- Solid Software/Tech experience in either private practice or an in-house role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
