The firm is now seeking a Head of Knowledge Management to play a key role in revolutionising their approach to knowledge management and driving efficiencies throughout the organisation.

The Role:

As the Head of Knowledge Management, you will oversee the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies and systems across the firm.

You will play a central role in ensuring that internal and external knowledge sources are effectively captured, stored, and utilised to drive performance, foster innovation, and maintain a competitive edge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation and development of knowledge management systems and processes across the firm.
  • Collaborating with other Heads of Operations and Heads of Departments to ensure seamless delivery and integration of knowledge management.
  • Developing and executing strategies for capturing and sharing knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving knowledge management practices and recommending changes to enhance the firm's ability to leverage its intellectual assets.
  • Overseeing the introduction and roll-out of AI tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in knowledge management, and managing procedures.
  • Providing knowledge management training and induction programmes to staff, ensuring effective learning and development.
  • Managing the knowledge management budget

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A relevant professional qualification in knowledge management or a related field.
    • This role does not necessarily call for a qualified Solicitor, however, Solicitors from Professional Support / Knowledge Management backgrounds are certainly of interest to the team.
  • Solid experience in team or people management.
  • Experience in managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • The ability to adapt to new technologies, particularly AI tools.
