The Role

Working with this experienced and prestigious national team, you will have the opportunity to support some of the most exciting, fast pace and impactful financial services regulation work in the legal sector.

You can access an exceptionally high quality of work from Edinburgh, with first-rate national clients including all major clearing banks, innovative investment platforms and asset managers as well as wealth businesses, pension providers and more.

The role will focus on the retail wealth and investment sectors, although you will be able to gain exposure well beyond this should you wish to. As such, you should know your way around a commercial contract as well as have strong technical knowledge of financial regulation which you can apply at pace.

Range in size and scale, as well as undertaking business-critical work for clients makes this role engaging and stimulating. You will be working alongside a fully geared national team and the most esteemed Partners in the market who are keen to mentor their team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Solicitor (4+ PQE) with experience in financial regulation, specifically retail wealth and investments
  • Is able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Solid commercial contracting experience
  • Can confidently manage a workload independently
  • Commercial awareness and market understanding
