Employment Solicitor

A well-established Top 200 is seeking a career minded, ambitious Employment Solicitor (1-4 years PQE) to join their busy employment department in Brighton. With offices across Sussex and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly regarded firm.

Working closely with the Employment team and two highly regarded Employment Partners, you will handle a variety of client matters, including attending meetings, drafting legal documents, conducting advocacy, and providing support to the Partners within the department.

The Role:

• Working closely with 2 highly regarded Employment Lawyers, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of matters
• Engage with potential legal clients, provide estimates and necessary documentation, follow up on inquiries, and address any objections to secure instructions.
• Produce well-considered written advice and legal documents in a timely manner to progress and conclude client matters.
• Contribute to business development strategies and identify opportunities to promote the firm through various channels.

Requirements:

• You must be a qualified Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ years PQE and a solid knowledge of employment law.
• Ability to effectively manage workload.
• Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with employers and managers.
• High degree of efficiency and accuracy.
