This is a unique and rare opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join an innovative business in Manchester who are seeing substantial growth.

Over the past 2 years there have been significant changes to the business and due to ongoing success, they are looking to further diversify their offering. For this reason, they are now seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer or Employment Partner.

The Company

This sector of the business offers employment law services to its subsidiaries clients, over the past few years and as part of their strategic growth plan, they have promoted this offering significantly to their existing client base which has resulted in a consistent influx of interesting work.

They are now looking to develop this offering further to establish an industry leading Employment Law practice, although there is an existing client base including large organisations and household names, the business are seeking an individual with strong business development experience to increase this further.

The Role

This expanding business are now seeking an Employment Partner to lead their team in Manchester

This is a varied position advising national and international businesses across a range of complex matters in Employment Law services including:

Complex RedundanciesChanges to terms and conditionsTUPE transfersBuilding on existing client relationshipsForging new client relationshipsOverseeing the team of 8 Employment advisors

This is an exciting time to join an innovative business who are going from strength to strength and show no signs of stopping. Due to the seniority and nature of this position, the company are able to pay above market rate to secure the right person at Partner level.

A client following is not essential for this position die to strong relationships having been built however, should you have clients to bring the business will assist you with onboarding and supporting them, providing with all support necessary.

Requirements

You will be an experienced Employment Lawyer or Partner with at least 8 years PQE Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageousYou should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flairA transferable client base or following is not essential but is highly advantageous

The Role

The firm is seeking to hire an ambitious Family Partner to join their flourishing office based in the City of London.

You will be part of a leading team working alongside a leading Family Partner. The Family team deals with a wide range of matters including divorce, children law and financial separation issues.

You will work with UHNW families on the most complex matters. You will be offered all the support to grow your practice as well as cross fertilising with a leading Private Client, Commercial and Corporate departments.

The Role

This is a stand out opportunity for a Head of Legal to work within this Media company in their state of the art West End, London office.

You will be delivering legal services and supporting the board with project work overseeing complex legal matters across both contentious and non-contentious issues.

You will be the main point of contact within VSI on all major legal and compliance issues and ongoing projects on all major IP and Commercial Issues. This will include but will not be excluded to New brand acquisitions, large scale innovation projects, IP and Commercial Disputes and Litigation, Major marketing campaigns, compliance including regulatory and competition, reputation management.

You will also be delivering/reviewing commercial agreements and the protection of the global business IP Portfolio. As this firm is a growing company, having Mergers and Acquisitions experience would be a requirement as the company look to grow.
