The Role

In-House Solicitor - Compliance & Company Secretarial (ideally from an in-house background) to join this company in London.

The general counsel currently handles compliance and company secretarial matters. However, they require someone to come in and take this side of the work.

The work will include regulatory compliance, KYC/AML process, fund management, and company secretarial work. You will also have the chance to get involved more generally alongside the rest of the legal team on transactional/other matters.

You will need to have had good exposure/familiarity to FCA compliance - preparing policy and procedures.

It would be a benefit to have experience in company secretarial matters. However, if you don't (but you do have good FCA compliance exposure), then that is not a problem, as this side can be taught more easily.

Requirements:

Solicitor (UK Qualified) 1 PQEGood familiarity with FCA complianceA good team player

Working pattern and location:

Full time, Mon-Fri - 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home (Monday and Friday working from home)

This leading construction firm is seeking a Contentious Construction Senior Associate to join their flourishing team in South West London.

You will be responsible for adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the Partners and Solicitors to build the department further, ensuring future success for the existing team and the firm as a whole.

The focus of this role will be to assist with a wide range of construction disputes, acting for commercial, institutional and private clients, many with an international presence.

The primary responsibilities include:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of industry-specific and general commercial contracts between the different parties involved in a project.Acting for a variety of clients, including builders, property developers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, landowners and more.Working closely with legal professionals of other disciplines, including finance, property and regulatory, to ensure due diligence is carried out, funding is secured etc.Liaising and negotiating with civil authorities to obtain planning permission and building approvals.Guiding clients through various forms of dispute resolution, up to and including litigation, when contracts are breached, payments are not made, injuries sustained, and other issues arise around the project. The Role: Privacy Counsel

This is an exciting Privacy Counsel role based in the West End of London. You will join a growing company with exciting growth plans. The company now stand at 320 employees with the view to double in size in the next few years.

As Privacy Counsel, you will lead the global privacy and data protection program and provide collaborative, hands-on support to the organization to ensure compliance with data privacy and data protection requirements globally (focusing initially on the US, UK and Canada).

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, UK, with dotted line reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will also work cross-functionally across the business to establish relationships and deliver consistent, practical legal guidance and support.

Responsibilities:
