Legal Counsel - Property | Leading Property Investor | Central London

You will be working in-house for a boutique and specialist property investment company that spans both Residential & Commercial Property and land - often through the purchase of existing corporate entities.

This investment firm is going from strength to strength, and the next 12-24 months could be a fascinating period of growth for them.

No day with this firm will be the same, with a fast-paced company environment, often seeing you working on multiple acquisitions at once, varying in value.

The company handles a variety of transaction sizes; deals range from £500-800k to more standard deal sizes circa £20million in value.

The Role

You will be joining this exciting and growing company as a Property specialist, working within a team of 5 and regularly liaising with the Managing Director.You will be involved with matters covering general commercial property, conveyancing law, company acquisitions, and contract work.You will require 4 years of PQE and experience in acquiring commercial and residential property and undertaking a corporate acquisition of a company that holds property assets, particularly by way of share purchase agreements.This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in an exciting boutique business.

Requirements

You will be a Solicitor with 4 years PQE experience (no upper limit) with extensive experience of running your own Residential, Commercial Property and ideally Corporate matters.You will be highly driven, innovative, and a self-starterYou will be required to be in the office full time/five days per week. However, the atmosphere is sociable, and it's a lovely part of London to be based; It's safe to say most people would enjoy the culture this business has created.

The role

You will be supporting the development and delivery of each project, this will typically entail; commercial contracts, due diligence, financing, corporate, data protection, sales and much more. You will also be regularly working with external counsel on regulatory and other legal requirements for operational matters across the UK and going forwards during their international expansion on the horizon.

It will be essential for you to support the Legal department in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, as well as advising the board on a variety of legal issues.
