The Role

Reporting to the Head of Legal on a 12- month fixed term arrangement, the company is seeking a Solicitor to join its in-house legal team.

The primary focus of the role is to, with a handover, provide maternity cover as a commercial lawyer and, in particular, offer legal advice and support to the business concerning operations, maintenance and legacy construction arrangements.

This role will be at least a 12-month fixed-term contract, but there are also good prospects for this role to become permanent.

Working knowledge of real estate law would be beneficial but not required.Experience with projects in other jurisdictions, particularly EMEA, would be beneficial.Experience in supporting group compliance activities, including developing policies and providing training and monitoring.Some experience of working in an in-house legal team is preferred.Experience within the data centre or telecommunications industry is preferred but not required.
