Commercial Litigation Partner

  • £90000 - £130000 per annum

The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Litigation Partner to join their team of 13 in their buzzing Leeds office.

The team has been recognised in the Legal 500 for the high-quality service they provide.

You will deal with a broad client base of PLC's, SME's, owner managed businesses and public sector bodies, on a complex caseload including shareholder and partnership disputes, contract disputes, professional negligence, IP disputes, construction disputes and regulatory matters.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the commercial litigation department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
You will have strong business development capabilities
Dynamic, entrepreneurial, and keen to get stuck in with a market leading team
A team player, that is able to lead and delegate

The firm are looking for a proficient Corporate Partner to join their busy city centre department in Leeds, covering a multitude of corporate work.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the corporate department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team. The team currently stands at 17, and you will be working with industry leaders around you.

The team has been recognised in the Legal 500 for the high-quality service they provide.

You will deal with a broad client base covering many industry sectors, the sheer level of variety will make for an interesting caseload including charities, education, energy and renewables, retail and transport.

Your caseload will involve acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, reconstructions, demergers and equity and debt refinancing.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm is succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer into their growing Sheffield office.

You will work as part of a highly ranked legal 500 team. The team is busy and has had an influx of new work, making now an exciting time to join.

You will deal with a Non-Contentious caseload, although this role would give you good exposure to some aspects of contentious work and would prove a good door opener for someone looking to broaden their practice. You will deal with an excellent quality of work, working on some of the most complex and high-value construction development work.

You will deal with a broad caseload, the variety of which will make for an interesting role.

Requirements
