The Role

This Top 40 UK law firm is seeking a Tax and Trusts Assistant to join its Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked private client team, based in the City of London.

Joining a Tier 1 team, celebrated across the Legal 500, Chambers and Spears 500; this is an exceptional opportunity to engage with a prestigious client list of ultra-high-net-worth individuals on a range of trust administration work.

As part of a collegiate and welcoming team, you will carry out duties such as utilising specialist trust and probate software systems such as Digiita, Troika and Excel - with training provided. You will utilise these systems for inputting data such as bank statements, investment managers' statements and year-end tax packs.

Other work will include undertaking compliance activities for trusts, including producing trust accounts and tax returns; self-assessment and Inheritance Tax and maintaining the FPTCA database.

This role comes with the opportunity to engage in client contact, liaising with trustee and beneficiaries and partaking in client meetings. You will regularly meet with investment managers and other professional advisers, providing valued legal advice.
