The role£


The firm are looking to recruit an experience Commercial Property Solicitor to join their Farnham, Surrey office.

The firm deal with a broad range of commercial property matters. They are looking to expand their commercial property department in Farnham. They use the latest Conveyancing Software Your work will include acting for clients in the sale and purchase of businesses and in the grant and assignment of commercial premises, including agreements for lease and lease renewals. You will also work on freehold acquisitions and disposals as well as deeds of easements.

The role

The firm are seeking to hire a part time Insolvency / Restructuring Lawyer into their flourishing, Guildford, Surrey office.

The firm has one of the strongest restructuring and insolvency practices in the South outside London, which is highly rated both in Chambers and Legal 500. The team is a fast-growing and dynamic group consisting of a dozen lawyers carrying out a high quality and varied diet of restructuring and insolvency work, including formal appointment work, security enforcements, consensual restructuring outside insolvency, distressed asset sales (inside and outside a formal insolvency), advice to directors of troubled companies and insolvency-related litigation.

The department often collaborate with their finance colleagues when resourcing refinancing projects and, together, they constitute the finance, restructuring and insolvency department. The finance practice covers acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate finance, asset based lending, trade finance, venture debt and corporate cross-over debt products.

The firm also have significant international reach, with well-established links across the world with tried and tested partner firms located in and/or acting for international clients from the following jurisdictions, where there is an English restructuring and/or insolvency nexus: all EU territories, Australia, the US, Japan, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa.

Around 80% of the work is publically funded, therefore it would be useful for you to have some back ground in public Family Law matters.

The Role

You will assist in the Conveyancing department and carry out tasks such as audio typing and completing legal forms, answering the telephone and arranging meetings with clients, administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning. You will work as part of a team and assist with secretarial and telephone cover when required. This is a permanent role, working 3 days a week.
