The Role

This is an excellent Company Secretary position based in this growing companies City of London office.

The role will involve the administration of share schemes/portals, advising shareholder issues and questions and the normal protocols / routine of board meetings.

You will work closely with senior figures at the business, advising them on governance, particularly around what information should be disclosed with shareholders and when.

A key part of the role will be advising the current senior team when to go out to shareholders and the financiers and with what information. You will need to have previous PLC experience with this role.

The is an opportunity for a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to work alongside the Head of Legal within the business who also works closely with the CEO. Due to the nature of the work, there will be Company Secretary duties so any experience in this area would be desirable.

The successful hire will need to have cross border, international Corporate & Commercial experience with a private practice background.

Experience of handling high level matters specifically within the Oil & Gas sector would be preferable but our client will consider strong Corporate & Commercial Solicitors with a genuine interest in this area.

You will be an entrepreneurial Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE.Adept in handling complex matters and a good understanding of the international Oil & Gas energy sector is preferred.The ability to work autonomously and effectively.This will be a demanding yet hugely rewarding role so the ability to handle a complex workload on an international scale is a must.You will be naturally driven, committed, and able to work across multi channels and teams across the firm's different geographies.Comfortable dealing at the highest level with Board level individuals.International travel will be a requirement.

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Deputy Group Secretary to join this company in their Headquartered state of the art office in London.

You will be the deputy group secretary for the company where your responsibilities will include maintaining positives relationships with both external and internal parties, acting as the point of contact for outsourced registered agents and company secretarial service providers. Liaising with external legal counsels and liaising with various departments in different time zones and companies.

You will manage the group wide framework to ensure group companies comply with local requirements, maintaining corporate compliance and implementing tools to improve record keeping.
