The Role

Because the firm is growing, they are looking for a Family Legal Aid Costs Draftsman for their North London office.

You roles will include: providing direct support to the Finance Director and Head of Family, preparing and submitting claims for costs for assessment and payment within the desired timescales, providing guidance, advice and supervision to any clerks helping with the workload, production of bills for assessment by the Court, drafting PODs and replies, drafting and submitting high cost case plans to the LAA, completing post-assessment work, completing final Claim 1s for payment by the Legal Aid Agency, preparing interim bills, appeal LAA assessments as required and much more.
