Senior Legal Counsel | High-Net-Worth Property Management Business | London

Due to their remarkable recent growth, this historical Property Management business is searching for an experienced in-house Lawyer to lead their legal function.

You will be working closely with the MD and focusing on a range of commercial and corporate matters.

The Role
You will be providing legal support on commercial and contractual issues across the business, tackling various contracts, incl; service agreements, procurement agreements, supply agreements etc.

You will also be identifying, advising on and devising mitigation strategies for legal risk. You will be developing and managing a robust compliance and legal framework within jurisdictions where the group operates to ensure that the business operations are consistent with the group's policies and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will be supporting and providing recommendation to management in enhancing the group's corporate governance practices, internal control system and policy-making from time to time. Providing support in the event of disputes or potential disputes and litigation matters and conduct internal investigations. You will also be liaising with external counsel, supporting the corporate secretarial function (including drafting of directors' / shareholders' resolutions) of each company within the group in UK and UAE.


Requirements

  • 6+PQE General Commercial Law experience
  • In-House experience is desirable
  • Able to liaise with various internal & external stakeholders
