The Role

Ranked by the prestigious Legal 500, you will work as part of this respected and quickly growing Banking & Finance team side-by-side with expert colleagues.

Your work will primarily focus on the financing elements of property transactions and as such you will need to have a good grasp of how to manage a real estate transaction from start to finish.

From advising on dispositions, securities, leases and documentation related to real estate finance you will support top-quality clients with all property-related funding requirements.

Specific tasks will include drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation, managing conditions precedent processes, inter-creditor arrangements, and any issues which arise relating to banking transactions.

Clients include some of the most highly regarded investors and financial institutions, banks and lenders in the country. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of these clients and build a strong reputation as an expert in banking and finance law.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor with a strong understanding of property transactions and a background, or strong desire to focus on, banking and finance.
  • Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relations
  • Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current legal landscape
