The Role:
This is a stand out opportunity for a Corporate Debt Managing Associate to join this top 25 City of London law firm.

Within this role you will take primary responsibility for drafting and negotiating finance documents, managing transaction process and supervising the contribution of less experienced colleagues.

You will work not just with colleagues in your immediate team, but also with associates in debt capital markets, structured finance, and derivatives, as well as those engaged in pertinent industry groups.

You will be working closely on Loan Market Association documents and English law security documents, from both the drafting and negotiating perspectives. You will also need to be informed about the borrower's industry and thinking about how AI and other tools may be harnessed to improve the overall service.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified solicitor (UK qualification) with 5+ years of PQE.
  • You will have good organisational skills.
  • You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
