Legal Counsel | Performance Minerals Company | South-West

This is a unique opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join an industrial manufacturing multinational based in the South West, to play an integral part in their international legal function.

Reporting to the Head of EMEA, you will focus on a range of commercial and corporate responsibilities whilst working closely with the Sales and Operations teams.

The role:

You will work as part of the EMEA Legal team, which includes over 12 Legal Counsel from various European locations. You will work on a range of commercial and corporate matters, supporting the Sales and Operations team and liaising closely with external counsel.

You will work on a range of commercial contracts, IP, Real estate, disputes, GDPR and legal operations work. You will also work closely with the M&A team, assisting in acquisitions as and when they arise. You will also have the opportunity to travel to their European HQ fairly regularly.

This role will give you the freedom to be closely aligned with the parts of the business that are of high interest to you.

The ideal candidate:

• You will be a qualified Solicitor 2-6 PQE (UK Qualified), with experience in Commercial Law
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Construction or Energy sectors is advantageous
• Able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders and present a solutions-driven approach
