Head of Legal | International Fintech Business | Bristol

As a result of their continued growth, this international Fintech business is seeking an experienced Head of Legal to lead their high-performing in-house legal team.

Reporting into the CFO, you will take charge of their legal and compliance team, working closely with the senior leadership team, sales, finance and their customers.

The Role

Leading a team of 3 legal professionals, you will serve as the head of legal for this international organisation. Your responsibilities will include providing high-level counsel to the C-suite, as well as working with the finance, sales and customer teams.

You will oversee a broad spectrum of legal matters, including commercial agreements (SaaS, customer and supplier contracts etc), Corporate (re-financing & M&A), corporate governance, insurance, general transactional and finance activities.

In addition, you will manage the data governance and regulatory compliance programme, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum 7 years PQE
• Experience with SaaS contracts + experience in the Financial Services industry (Fintech, Insurance, Banking etc)
• A commercial mindset with the ability to lead a high-performing in-house legal team
