They now seek a Court of Protection (COP) Paralegal to join its flourishing department in Central London.

The Role:

This Legal 500 & Top 200 ranked firm seeks a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a highly-established department.

This is a unique role where the department represents protected parties and family members in complex health and welfare proceedings before the Court of Protection and the High Court. They assist in making decisions about their clients' health and welfare, including Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carer's rights, and issues relating to the Care Act 2014.

The team comprises of the Managing Partner, two solicitors and some support staff. There is currently a large amount of work in house, so they are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision to a high level of quality and be keen to progress your career within the team.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Court of Protection Paralegal
  • You will possess a passion for working within Court of Protection
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will be an ambitious individual who wants to progress in their career
  • You must be someone who is a self-starter.
  • You will have a strong collaborative approach to working
  • A meticulous eye for detail is essential
