The Role:
This is a stand out opportunity for a Tax Disputes Associate/Senior Associate to join this top 20 City of London law firm.

In order to be considered for this role you should have strong technical skills and ideally some relevant tax and/or litigation experience. You should also be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop.

Within this role you will have a very high degree of autonomy and client involvement, you will often be involved in a wide array of disputes, that will involve complex international matters. As well as working closely with the firms private and wealth disputes, private client and the corporate tax teams.

There will also be an opportunity to work on initiatives related to business development, in increasing the firm's large profile through articles to be published in legal and tax journals.

You will be working with a wide range of clients, ranging from international high net worth clients and other families, to FTSE 100 companies. The team handles a diverse range of tasks, such as making disclosures to HMRC, addressing civil and criminal inquiries, participating in litigation at tax tribunals and higher courts during appeals, managing professional negligence cases, and handling claims for restitution, rectification, and rescission in both the High Court and international courts.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified solicitor (UK qualification) with 2-6 years of PQE in tax disputes.
• You will have good organisational skills.
• You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
• You will be details focussed, self-motivated and proactive, and confident in building enduring relationships with clients that are based on trust and high-quality service delivery.
