The Role

This is an opportunity for an Intellectual Property Solicitor NQ-2 PQE to join an outstanding, modern and exciting Top-65 firm in the City of London.

You will join an award-winning firm, led by a team of partners widely regarded as leaders in their field and who are regularly recommended by clients for their reputation, personalities and outstanding expertise.

The firm has a very lucrative client base of SME's as well as numerous major national and international companies.

This firm's intellectual property team has a particular focus on dispute resolution in the IPEC and High Court.

They have recently hired a heavy-hitting Partner in intellectual property, and they are looking for an ambitious Solicitor NQ-2 PQE to join the success.

The duties which the successful intellectual property associate would be expected to perform, include but are not limited to:

Drafting, with supervision, letters of claim relating to the full range of IP rights; Reviewing letters prior to claim and drafting responses, under supervision; Drafting court/IPO papers from start to finish relating to a range of IP rights.

You will have a high level of client contact and client management and attending client meetings.

You will also be advising and filing IP registrations both in the UK/EU and worldwide!

You will instruct counsel relating to IP disputes in the High Court or IPEC; Analyse statements, reports and legal documents and preparing papers for court.

The successful Intellectual Property Solicitor will be competent to formulate case strategy and represent clients in interim court hearings.

Requirements:

• You will be an Intellectual Property Solicitor NQ-2 PQE
• You will have dealt with a high quality of work and be commercially-minded
• A meticulous eye for detail
