The Role

This role is well suited to an Employment solicitor who is keen to take on a varied and exciting caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Work spans a plethora of employment issues, from providing general advice and HR support to supporting on strategic projects, high-profile tribunal work, TUPE, collective matters and much more.

Clients are prestigious and large-scale, making for a complex, engaging and fulfilling workload where you will develop unparalleled expertise in employment issues.

Working directly alongside Legal 500 individually ranked Partners in the practice area, you will be in a strong position to develop professionally as you progress through one of the premier legal businesses in the country.

The current split of the team's work is around 60/40 weighted towards contentious work so you should be very comfortable taking on employment dispute matters.

Progression within the team is actively supported and there is lots of headroom to develop into.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is an experienced Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE) with strong contentious expertise
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage a varied caseload with a range of clients
  • Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Is well organised and can prioritise efficiently
  • Can manage and support junior lawyers
