The role:

Are you a Corporate Associate 2-5 years PQE looking for a high level of responsibility and autonomy? This boutique Corporate practice is offering someone the chance to forge a name for themselves with the full backing and support of experienced lawyers.

This firm is looking to appoint an Associate who will work across a range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and demergers, as well as general corporate matters.

You will be supporting a client base of high-growth emerging companies, entrepreneurial ventures, SMEs and established privately owned companies, many of whom are backed by private equity. A significant number of clients sit in sectors including Tech, Digital, IT, Emerging Technology, Food & Drink and Manufacturing.

This role would suit a technically strong lawyer who is seeking responsibility for a challenging but exciting workload. You should be robust in character and someone who wants to deal with stakeholders directly whilst having the resilience to be challenged on the commerciality of legal advice.

The ideal candidate:

• Corporate Associate 2-5 years PQEwith training and experience in a leading corporate department
• Must be a technically competent lawyer and able to deal with challenging legal work
• Strong sense of commerciality and a demonstrable sector interest in Tech and IT
