Commercial Litigation Associate

Join a prestigious Top 50, Legal 500 ranked firm and support them in growing their Commercial Litigation team as an Associate in their central Edinburgh office.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to support national and local clients with their most complex and engaging commercial disputes. Acting in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, you will work across a range of commercial issues such as:

• Contractual disputes of all shapes and sizes
• Misrepresentation
• Professional negligence
• Insolvency and restructuring
• Real estate disputes and much more

Furthermore, the disputes will span the full spectrum of sectors, from energy, financial services, technology, transport and more, making for an engaging position.

Working alongside Partners who are recognised in Scotland as being at the pinnacle of their profession you will be encouraged to build your own reputation in the market as you undertake impactful and interesting work.

• Has 3+ years of experience working in Commercial Litigation
• First-rate drafting skills
• Commercial focus
• Has strong attention to detail and organisation
• First-rate interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients
