This Top 50 Firm is seeking an Associate (3+ PQE) to play a key role in the growth of their award-winning Edinburgh Construction team, with a specific focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

What will you be doing?

Working within this highly rated and Tier 1 ranked National team, you will engage with the full range of non-contentious construction and engineering matters. With the support of an award-winning team of skilled and experienced colleagues, you will advise clients on some of the most cutting-edge, large-scale construction, energy and infrastructure projects in the UK and abroad.

Projects include providing support to massive infrastructure developments and re-developments and having a hand in complex construction projects which will improve the landscape of the UK for the next generation. Renewable power projects across wind, solar, green-hydrogen, geothermal power, biomass and more make up much of the exciting work this team undertakes.

Counted amongst the team's many notable clients are several FTSE 100 firms, as well as some of the UK's largest public bodies and numerous international clients.

The Edinburgh team is growing rapidly and by joining now, you will be in the position to develop market-leading expertise with a renowned team and progress quickly through the ranks of one of the most accomplished and well-regarded firms operating in the UK.

What are you like?

  • An experienced construction lawyer with at least 3 years of relevant PQE
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work with clients spanning the full spectrum of sectors and scale
  • Enjoys working in a friendly team environment and supporting junior colleagues in their development
  • Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current construction and engineering law landscape
